With more than 20 years of experience in hunting, outdoor equipment, and optics sales, Gary Blalock founded American Optics & Outfitters to create a company built on knowledge, trust, and performance.
Gary oversees company strategy, manufacturer partnerships, and long-term growth while maintaining hands-on involvement in product selection and customer relationships. His deep understanding of the industry allows the company to identify technology that truly delivers — and avoid the gimmicks that flood the market.
Under his leadership, American Optics & Outfitters continues to expand product lines, dealer networks, and national presence.
Gary H. — Research & Development, Technology & Sales Development
Gary H. leads research & development, product refinement, manufacturer relations, and growth strategy for American Optics & Outfitters.
Working directly with international and domestic manufacturers, he plays a central role in:
• Developing product specifications
• Improving optical performance
• Testing equipment in real-world field conditions
• Negotiating sourcing and pricing
• Expanding dealer and distributor networks
Many of the company’s product upgrades and innovations come directly from his hands-on testing, customer feedback, and technical input.

Kevin M— Sales Manager
Kevin serves as Sales Manager for American Optics & Outfitters, overseeing customer engagement, show operations, and direct sales strategy.
With extensive experience working major outdoor events and hunting expos, Kevin manages booth operations, product demonstrations, and customer outreach. He plays a key role in maintaining company presence across Texas and surrounding regions while building relationships with customers, vendors, and partners.
His focus on accessibility and customer experience helps ensure every visitor receives hands-on product knowledge and support.
